Long, wonderful day

So we had a wonderful family day today. It all started this morning when we took a trip to the Ross Park Zoo. We got there around 11am, had a great time. Nicholai loved all the animals and I took a bunch of pictures. Abbygail didnt really care for any of it, lol but she is too young to understand it. before we left we stopped in the gift shop and got both the kids something. We didnt leave the Zoo until about 1pm.
After the Zoo, we headed out to lunch and ended up at the Chinese Buffet in vestal next to walmart. After lunch we went to walmart and decided we wanted to cookout at GreenWood Park and hangout up there for a while, so we bought grilling food and what not and I called my mom and grandma and they met us up there at the park with one of my cousins. Nicholai had a great time. Him and daddy played and played. Then we took the kids down to the swimming area. Nicholai LOVES water so naturally he loved it (like always), but Abbygail on the other hand, does NOT like water, lol. Not even at bath time. So she only dipped her feet a couple times and i dipped her to her chest once and that was that, lol. At least she got to wear her new swim suit I guess.
We didnt get home until after 7 pm tonight and we just had a really great day.

Long (ish) weekend

Saturday, it was just me and the kiddos from 830 am to 11pm. Dom went on some "soul searching" fishing expedition with a buddy in the am and then with himself in the pm, he was home for about 45 minutes all Saturday. "YAY"

Ok, so Sunday was a long day too, but it was actually fun. We decided, last minute, to pack up and spend the day at Ostiningo Park and cookout lunch. My mom and my cousin came too to have lunch with us and hang out for a bit. Watching Nicholai run around for 4 hours made me soooooo tired. lol
Abbygail loved being outside. I had her down in the grass, on her feet, and she was laughing up a storm. I think it tickled. Then she felt like ripping the grass outta the ground, must have made her mad. i dunno, lol.
Nicholai spent his time running around our picnic area and chasing people with sticks as they walked by. After we had lunch, we took the kids over to the play area and Nicholai had a great time playing on everything and going down the slides. Abbygail hung out in the swings and had a good time too.

During the time at the play area I was chasing a duck, why, i dont know, but i was. Then I witnessed for the first time, a duck in a tree. It had a nice little nest up there and Im guessing some eggs too. But seeing how Im not that tall, I will never know, lol. I really hope those duckies dont fall outta the tree. That would suck.

As the day turned into night

I have NEVER seen so much poop come out of a little baby!!!
All Abbygail has been doing today is pooping. I go to change her diaper, give her bottom a wipe and she starts crapping again. SO GROSS! She did that with at least 5 diaper changes today, and on top of that Nicholai had to of had 4 poopies today too. My kids are literally FULL OF SHIT!


But on a better note, my kiddos are sleeping cause they are pooped out (lol)
from a long day. I cleaned Everything but the kitchen today, got clothes put away, made Nicholai help pick up his room and random toys in the living room. That lasted so long (the clean). After Dominic got home from work, he took us out to dinner at the Chinese Buffet in Endwell, YUMMY! Then from there we went grocery shopping. Didnt get to awful much, but got what we needed for now.
When we got home, Nicholai was eager and willing to help tote bags up two flights of stairs and ended up taking I believe 5 bags total. So yes, he made 5 trips up the stairs cause he took only one bag at a time........ didnt want him to fall back down the stairs, haha.
Daddy bought Abbygail a stuffed Piglet, so cute and nicholai a new pair of shades, which of course are Spongebob.

It is now 1040pm and I m getting kinda sleepy, so I will end here, and hopefully head to bed.

June 4th 2009

I sit here trying to figure out how the hell it is june already. I don't get it. Time is flying by WAY too fast these days and I dont like it. Abbygail is 5 months old already and it still feels like I just had her. He is getting so big TOO fast. Nicholai is gonna be three in just a few short months and I dont really know how I feel about that either. He is becoming such a little man and I want my baby back, lol.


I have to get some cleaning done, but I am still trying to figure out the point. With Nicholai tearing through the house it is an endless process and pretty pointless to be completely honest. There may only be one of him, but he does a number on a house in just a few short minutes I tell ya.


I finally got his bedroom just about finished and cleaned out. We have lived here for almost 2 months and he slept in his room for the first time two nights ago. How sad is that? BUT, that is not fully my fault either. My bedroom sits unfinished with the closet gutted and leaves me with no place to put shit so I kinda left the boxes in Nicholai's room. But the other day it pissed me off to the point I took ALL the boxes from his room and stuffed them in a closet across from the main house door. I have had enough waiting on other people.


I have shopping to get done today also, but that is gonna prove interesting I do believe. By shopping I mean for food not clothes or other useless items.

Abbygail's 4 month check up at 5 months

Well abbygail had her 4 month check up today, although she is now 5 months old. She got her 4 shots and one oral and she did really well with that. She id cry for a moment, but got over it very quickly. It was confirmed how much of a peanut she really is. She weighs only 13.2 lbs and in 24.9 inches long. She is little bitty, but she is extremely healthy. She has to go back in 6 weeks for more shots, her 6 month shots. Not really looking forward to that so soon, but her 4 month well baby check up was a month late. I promise that wasnt my fault. I had the appointment made more than a month ago. But that's ok i guess.
